CUT COSTS & IMPROVE QUALITY

Dutch Public TV – national network conversion
The average local TV Newsroom may have upwards of 150 employees but put only 6-8 camera crews on the streets every day. This makes no sense. We train the entire staff to shoot, edit, report, produce and upload video; equip them with digital cameras and laptop edits and put them on the streets where they belong. Now instead of having 6-8 cameras on the street you can have 30-40, and cut your cost of production by 50% or more at the same time.
It works.
More coverage
Lower cost
In 2000, Rosenblum Associates entered into a long-term contract to completely change the nature of television news in the UK. For four years we trained, equipped and fielded more than 650 VJs across the UK for The BBC’s national news network. When we came to the BBC, they covered the entire UK on a daily basis with 84 conventional beta crews. Now they cover the entire UK on a daily basis with more than 750 cameras. A massive, fundamental change.
