THE BOOTCAMP

We run intensive VJ training bootcamps in
-New York

-Santa Barbara
-Brussels, Belgium

These are very intensive group sessions with a great deal of individualize attention.

Groups are generally 12-40 people.

Students are taught to shoot, write, script, edit, produce and upload in video.  They are both creative as well as technical, with a strong emphasis on compelling story telling.

ONE DAY INTRODUCTION

An intensive one day introduction to the world of the ‘Digital Revolution”.
New technologies, new career opportunities. How are the worlds of
broadcast television, news, online, cable production, newspapers
and much more being impacted by the ‘revolution’.   An opportunity to see how
the world of video is changing both online and on air.

INTENSIVE WEEKEND

A real hands-on experience.

Students will report, shoot, script, edit and upload a piece in an
intensive weekend training session.  They will get first hand experience
in all aspects of digital video production and walk away with a completed
first piece. A great introduction.

FOUR DAY INTENSIVE BOOTCAMP

Held Thursdays – Sundays, this is an incredibly intensive training experience.

We like to say that we compress one year of NYU Film School into four days.
And it works.

Students will each learn to shoot, script, track, edit, produce and upload
their work. They will complete two projects in the four days, and have massive
critique and feedback sessions as well.  There is also a great deal of time devoted
to ‘how to make a living in this business – the impact of the digital revolution’, which explores
how to best apply your nearly learned skills.  Individualized attention.

In partnership with corporations, we are always happy to create on-site, highly personalized
